Confession time. I am no longer twenty-something (in fact, that is a bit of an understatement). Fine lines have begun appearing around my eyes- evidence of a life lived to the fullest with laughter and lots of sunshine. So when given the opportunity to review Colorado Aromatics Parsley Eye Serum, I readily agreed.
The Parsley Eye Serum was developed by Dr. Cindy Jones who has her PhD. in biochemistry from Cincinnati and was involved in cancer biology for several years. Dr. Jones has worked as a research scientist, a college instructor and is a published author. She is a self-taught herbalist. In addition to formulating her own Colorado Aromatics products, she does cosmetic microbiology and consulting for other cosmetic companies.
Key Ingredients of Colorado Aromatics Parsley Eye Serum
The Parsley Eye Serum is made of all natural ingredients specifically formulated to support cellular regeneration, reduce redness and irritation, retain moisture and reduce fine lines and dull skin tone. The key ingredients in this eye serum include parsley extract, sea buckthorn oil, macadamia nut oil and rosemary extract. I have listed a breakdown of their properties below:
Parsley Extract- rich in vitamins A, C & K as well as minerals, antiinflammatories, and antioxidants.
Sea Buckthorn Oil- rich in antioxidants, phytosterols, carotenoids, vitamins A & E.
Macadamia Nut Oil- rich in beneficial fatty acids, this light oil helps protect aging skin.
Rosemary Extract- rich in beneficial antioxidants.
My Thoughts on the Parsley Eye Serum
I’ve used this product every night for 2 weeks around my eyes. The Parsley Eye Serum feels good on my skin, hasn’t caused any breakouts or irritations and a little bit goes a long way. Even though the brand is called Colorado “Aromatics” the serum does not have a strong scent which I consider a positive.
I love that this eye serum is made from all natural ingredients. Did I mention that a lot of the herbs are grown on the company’s farm in Longmont Colorado?
Even the packaging for Colorado Aromatics is environmentally friendly. Minimal materials are used and the packaging is recyclable.
The cost of the Parsley Eye Serum is $10.55. That’s incredible. Eye serums at department store makeup counters will run you around $50 or more for a small bottle. Is this product comparable to those department store products? There’s really no way for me to determine that, especially in 2 weeks, but so far I am really enjoying the eye serum.
Colorado Aromatics Parsley Eye Serum can be purchased on their website here. Of course, Colorado Aromatics has a complete line of skin care products for your face, body and bath (their lavender products look wonderful).
The Bottom Line
Colorado Aromatics Parsley Eye Serum feels great and I feel good knowing it is comprised of all natural ingredients. And the cost doesn’t cause you to wrinkle your brow.
I’ll see ya by the campfire.
Disclosure of material connection: I received the Parsley Eye Serum for free from Colorado Aromatics as coordinated by Deep Creek Public Relations in consideration for review publication.
