Our Peppermint Crunch Candy Recipe is the perfect Christmas candy recipe. It’s easy, delicious and festive. Christmas is a busy time of year. Who has time to spend hours in the kitchen? But with this recipe, your friends will think you are Little Miss Homemaker (or Mr. Homemaker).
Peppermint Crunch Candy Recipe
2 lbs white coating (chocolate) and 1 lb peppermint crunch
Place white coating in a Microwave safe bowl. Melt the white chocolate on medium power. stirring every 30 seconds to 1 minute, until it has melted.
Add the peppermint crunch and stir it in.
Pour and spread the candy out on 2 cookie sheets.
Let it setup. Placing the cookie sheets in the freezer will make them setup quicker.
Break up the candy.
Store in an airtight container and serve in a pretty Christmas bowl or platter.
You can find peppermint crunch at cake decorating stores. It is red and green peppermint that has been crushed. Or you can make your own peppermint crunch by taking peppermint sticks and crushing them yourself. I prefer to buy my peppermint crunch because it is brightly colored and so easy. You can usually find the white coating at cake decorating stores also or you can use white chocolate chips/pieces found at your grocery store.
Another variation of this recipe is to replace the peppermint crunch with lemon crunch. This candy tastes like lemon pie and can be served throughout the year.
