This conversion camper is added to the standard Prius hatchback. It features a side sofa that doubles as a bed and a retractable coffee table. It sleeps 4, with 2 people sleeping up top in the camper and 2 people sleeping down below in the car itself. There is a little trap door that allows you to climb from the camper into the car. That is very convenient considering you will probably not want to show your face in public if you are driving this monstrosity.
This camper has other tripped out features as well, such as a skylight and a backdoor. O0h–ahh!
Even though you can’t help but poke fun at this odd little car-camper combo, I have to admit, it does have some nice features. You have a dry bed. You don’t have to setup a tent. I assume the back door locks, so you have a small level of security. You know your kids would love playing with that little secret door. So yes, the Prius camper has some nice features. You just keep telling yourself that, in a voice loud enough to drown out all the laughter around you.
I’ll see ya by the campfire.
