Gear Review: Coleman Screened Canopy Review

Today, I am sharing my Coleman® Screened Canopy review because it is one of our favorite additions to our camping equipment. And when we like something, we tell our friends. Of course, since I now have a camping blog, our group of friends has gotten a little larger.
Coleman 10 x 10 Screened Canopy Features:
- Patented instant shelter frame sets up in less than 60 seconds.
- Tall center height, 7 ft clearance.
- Two zippered doors for simple entrance and exit.
- 50+ UV Guard™ protection factor.
- Heavy duty 150D canopy.
- Wheeled carry bag.
- Footed poles for easy securing, more stabilization with Coleman steel tent pegs.
What We Like:
It’s so versatile. We have used our Coleman Screened Canopy while camping, at the beach and at a little league baseball game.
Easy setup. The setup is so easy you can setup this screened canopy by yourself. And take it down yourself. No need to gather up your friends, family and people passing by (you know you’ve done that with other screen tents).
The screen. We love the screen to keep out mosquitoes. In fact, we also used our screened canopy to keep out gnats while attending a little league baseball tournament “below the gnat line” in south Georgia. It worked so well that first day, that by day 2 other parents had run to the store to buy one for themselves.
The shade. We used the Coleman Screened Canopy at the beach. It provided a nice shade. And when we took a break from the beach, we kept our swim toys in it so they wouldn’t blow away.
It’s affordable. We found it to be a quality screen tent, at a good price.
What We Didn’t Like:
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like it. In fact, we liked it so much we bought a second one.
The Bottom Line
We have really enjoyed our Coleman 10 x 10 Screened Canopy. Super easy to setup, versatile and a good quality product at a good price. Sa-Weet!

We do live below the Gnat line.. and these things are invaluable. I’ve been camping where you had to eat IN the tent because the gnats were so bad. That”s probably my biggest gripe with camping in the south. These are great though, easy to put up and they don’t take up much space. Thanks for another great review.
Gnats are not a joke down there. I think I inhaled quite a few just walking to my car and back.
Love screen tents! Especially when you are tenting. They are indispensable.
