  2. How about using a bucket for washing clothes a la John Steinbeck in his classic “Travels with Charley, In Search of America”, the story of his cross-country trip in one of the original RVs with his dog, Charey. Simply put water and detergent in the bucket with your clothes. Pop on the top. Drive 100 miles. Voila! Clean clothes.
